This semester’s production of Wandering in the Wilderness was meant to be a visual representation of social distancing with all the dancers wearing large garments that forced them apart from each other. The main centerpiece of the show was a 12-foot hoop skirt that one of the dancers wore as others dancers moved and tumbled around her. The skirt is made from plain red cotton with steel boning running through it and an outer organza layer. The carriage used to move the skirt around is made from PVC pipes, wood, and 8 caster wheels.
